Stephanie Economou (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, About My Father, The Chair, Jupiter’s Legacy) has been tapped to score DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming family adventure Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie. The film is directed by Ryan Crego (Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh, I Heart Arlo) and stars Laila Lockhart Kraner who is reprising her title role from the Netflix preschool series (created by Jennifer Twomey & Traci Page Johnson), as well as Gloria Estefan, Kristen Wiig, Thomas Lennon, Jason Mantzoukas, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Melissa Villaseñor and Fortune Feimster. The movie follows Gabby as she heads out on a road trip with her grandmother to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco, but when her dollhouse ends up in the hands of an eccentric cat lady, she sets off on an adventure through the real world to save her most prized possession. Steven Schweickart is producing the project. Economou has previously scored 2023’s Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken for DreamWorks Animation. Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie will be released in theaters nationwide on September 26, 2025 by Universal Pictures.
