Fil Eisler has recently been recording his music for the upcoming Netflix original series What/If. The show is created by Mike Kelley (Revenge, Swingtown) and stars Renee Zellweger, Jane Levy, Blake Jenner and Daniella Pineda. The neo-noir drama follows a pair of cash-strapped newlyweds who accept a lucrative but morally dubious offer from a mysterious female benefactor. Kelley is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Melissa Loy for Page Fright, Alex Gartner (Get Smart, Triple Frontier) & Charles Roven (The Dark Knight, Wonder Woman) for Atlas Entertainment, as well as Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forest Gump) and Jack Rapke (Cast Away, Flight). Eisler has previously scored all episodes of the Kelley-created ABC drama Revenge. What/If will premiere later this year exclusively on Netflix.
Eisler (How to Be Single, CHiPs, UnReal, Life of the Party) also continues to score Fox’s Empire, which currently airs in its fifth season Wednesday nights. He also recently scored the Melissa McCarthy-starring comedy Superintelligence, which will be released in theaters on December 25, 2019 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
