The details of the soundtrack album for the animated sequel The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie including the end credits track Super Cool by Beck (feat. Robyn & The Lonely Island), as well as songs performed by Dillon Francis (feat. T-Pain & That Girl Lay Lay), Superorganism, Matt and Kim, cast members Tiffany Haddish, Will Arnett, Stephanie Beatriz, Superorganism & more. Also included are new versions of the Academy Award-nominated song Everything Is Awesome written for the original 2014 The LEGO Movie. Jon Lajoie is the principal songwriter for most of the original songs and Marius de Vries (La La Land, Moulin Rouge!) serves as the movie’s executive music producer. The soundtrack will be released later this week by WaterTower Music and is now available for pre-order on AmazonThe LEGO Movie 2 is directed by Mike Mitchell, written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and features the voices by Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Stephanie Beatriz. The film will be released in theaters nationwide on February 8 by Warner Bros Pictures.
