Königskinder has released a soundtrack album for the German drama The Captain (Der Hauptmann). The album features the film’s original music composed by Martin Todsharow (Desert Flower, 3096 Days, Atomised). The soundtrack is now available to download overseas. Milan Records will release the album in the U.S. on July 27, 2018. Visit Amazon to order the soundtrack. The Captain is directed by Robert Schwentke (Flightplan, RED, The Time Traveler’s Wife) and stars Max Hubacher, Milan Peschel, Frederick Lau and Alexander Fehling. The movie follows a young German deserter as he tries to survive in the deadly final days of the Third Reich. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and was released in Germany and other European territories last month. Music Box Films has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release later this year.
