Vampire Weekend member Ezra Koenig and director Will Gluck have co-written an original song for the new family comedy Peter Rabbit. The track, entitled I Promise You, is featured in three different versions in the movie, including a version performed by James Corden (voice of the film’s lead character) and produced by Greg Kurstin, another one performed by Shana Halligan, Katharine Hoye, Fletcher Sheridan & Chris Mannas and produced by the film’s composer Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Money Monster, Free Birds), as well as demo version performed by Koenig himself. Composer Theodore Shapiro (Ghostbusters, The Devil Wears Prada) co-wrote another original song, Small As Your Dreams, with Gluck.
