MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack EP for the documentary Bobbi Jene. The EP features the film’s original score composed by Uno Helmersson (Magnus, The Keeper of Lost Causes, The Absent One). The soundtrack is now available digitally on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. In addition, the label has also released the composer’s music for the drama The Lion Woman on Friday (click here to download). Bobbi Jene is directed by Elvira Lind and focuses on American dancer Bobbi Jene in the aftermath of her decision to leave behind her prominent position at the world-famous Batsheva Dance Company in Israel to return to the U.S. and create her own performances. The documentary premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival where it won awards for best documentary feature, best cinematography and editing in a documentary feature, and will be released in select theaters on September 22, 2017 by Oscilloscope Laboratories.
