Premiering on Tuesday, February 14, is the Netflix original movie Girlfriend’s Day directed by Michael Stephenson and starring Bob Odenkirk, Amber Tamblyn, Natasha Lyonne. The film’s original music is composed by Bobby Tahouri (Husk, Across the Hall, Rise of the Tomb Raider video game). Girlfriend’s Day follows an unemployed greeting card writer must who gets caught up in a conspiracy and must create the perfect card for a new holiday to save his skin. The comedy will be available to stream on Netflix on Tuesday.
Premiering in the U.S. on Saturday, February 18, is the BBC Earth documentary series Planet Earth narrated by David Attenborough, executive produced by Michael Gunton and produced by Tom Hugh-Jones. Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception) has composed the show’s main theme. Jacob Shea (Through the Wormhole) and Jasha Klebe (Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom) have written the score for Bleeding Fingers Music.
