Nathaniel Mechaly is composing the music for the upcoming psychological thriller Shut In. The film is directed by Farren Blackburn (Hammer of the Gods) and stars Naomi Watts, Oliver Platt, Charlie Heaton, David Cubitt and Jacob Tremblay. The movie follows a widowed child psychologist who lives in isolation in rural New England and must find a way to rescue a young boy caught in a deadly winter storm. Christina Hodson has written the Blacklist-honored screenplay for the EuropaCorp and Lava Bear Films production. Mechaly has previously scored EuropaCorp’s Taken trilogy, as well as the features Colombiana and Angelique and the TV shows Transporter: The Series and Taxi Brooklyn. Shut In is set to be released on February 19, 2016 by EuropaCorp’s new U.S. distribution company.
