Premiering tonight is the Lifetime original mini-series The Red Tent directed by Roger Young, executive produced by Paula Weinstein and starring Minnie Driver, Morena Baccarin, Rebecca Ferguson, Iain Glen, Will Tudor and Debra Winger. The series’ original music is composed by Laurent Eyquem (Copperhead, Winnie Mandela, Rage). The two-parter based on the best-selling novel by Anita Diamant tells the story of Dinah, the daughter of Leah and Jacob and will air tonight and tomorrow on Lifetime. Also premiering tonight is the new TNT series The Librarians executive produced by Dean Devlin and starrring Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth, John Kim and John Larroquette, Noah Wyle, Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin. Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Spartacus, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) who previously scored all movies in the The Librarian series and also scored Devlin’s Leverage is composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, December 12, is the Netflix original series Marco Polo created by John Fusco and starring Lorenzo Richelmy, Zhu Zhu, Joan Chen, Benedict Wong, Remy Hii, Olivia Cheng, Claudia Kim, Uli Latukefu, Chin Han and Tom Wu. Peter Nashel (Bee Season, Rubicon, The Night Listener, Lie to Me) and Eric V. Hachikian have composed the original music for the show’s first season. The 10-episode season, which follows the famed explorer’s adventures in Kublai Khan’s court in 13th century China, will be available to stream on Netflix.
