Marty Beller is the composer of the new Fox mystery event series Gracepoint. The show created by Chris Chibnall (United, Camelot) is a remake of the critically acclaimed British TV series Broadchurch and stars David Tennant, Anna Gunn, Michael Peña, Kevin Zegers, Nick Nolte, Jacki Weaver, Kevin Rankin, Jessica Lucas, Jack Irvine, Virginia Kull, Sarah-Jane Potts and Josh Hamilton. The crime drama follows the tragic death of a young boy, and the major police investigation and nationwide media frenzy that subsequently overtake a picturesque seaside town, where anyone is a suspect. Chibnall is also executive producing the Shine America, Kudos and Imaginary Friends production with Anya Epstein (In Treatment, Homicide) & Dan Futterman (Capote, In Treatment), Jane Featherstone, John Goldwyn (Dexter) and Carolyn Bernstein (The Bridge). Beller has previously collaborated with Epstein & Futterman (who also serve as showrunners) on the third season of HBO’s In Treatment. He is also known as the current drummer for the rock band They Might Be Giants. Olafur Arnalds scored the original Broadchurch series, for which he received a BAFTA for Best Original Television Music. Gracepoint is set to premiere on October 2, 2014 and will air every Thursday night on Fox. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.
