Sony Classical will release a score album for the sci-fi drama The Giver. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, World War Z, The Wolverine, 3:10 to Yuma). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 12, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A physical version is set to come out on September 9 (click here to pre-order the CD). Audio clips are available after the jump. As previously reported, Interscope Records will release a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film. The Giver is directed by Phillip Noyce and stars Brenton Thwaites, Odeya Rush, Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Swift, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Tremblay and Katie Holmes. The movie based on the bestselling novel by Lois Lowry is set to be released nationwide on August 15, 2014 by the Weinstein Company.
