Premiering tonight on Fox is the docu-series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, Ann Druyan, Mitchell Cannold & Brannon Braga and hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. Alan Silvestri (Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, The Avengers) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring selections from the composer’s was released digitally earlier this week. Additional albums are expected to be announced soon. Also premiering tonight is the new ABC drama Resurrection created by by Aaron Zelman and starring Omar Epps, Matt Craven, Devin Kelley, Frances Fisher, Kurtwood Smith, Sam Hazeldine, Samaire Armstrong, Mark Hildreth and Landon Gimenez. The show’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Mentalist, Everwood, Life As We Know It). Premiering tomorrow, March 10, is the new NBC drama Believe created by Alfonso Cuarón & Mark Friedman and starring Jake McLaughlin, Johnny Sequoyah, Jamie Chung, Arian Moayed, Kyle MacLachlan and Delroy Lindo. Steven Price who collaborated with Cuaron on his Academy Award-winning score for Gravity is composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Tuesday, March 11, is the new drama From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series created by Robert Rodriguez based on his 1996 cult film of the same title and starring D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Jesse Garcia, Don Johnson, Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport, Jake Busey, Brandon Soo Hoo and Wilmer Valderrama. Carl Thiel who previously scored Rodriguez’s Machete Kills, Shorts and the latest Spy Kids movie is the composer of the show, which will air on the El Rey Network. Missing from last week’s roundup was the new FX comedy Saint George created by Matt Williams & David McFadzean and starring George Lopez, Jenn Lyon, Olga Merediz, Diana Maria Riva, David Zayas and Danny Trejo. The show’s original music is composed by Dan Foliart (7th Heaven, Roseanne, The Secret Life of the American Teenager). The series follows the chaotic life of a recently divorced working-class Mexican-American turned successful entrepreneur caught between two cultures.
