Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the thriller Hours. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Benjamin Wallfisch (The Escapist, Dear Wendy, Summer in February). The soundtrack will be released on December 10, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hours is written and directed by Eric Heisserer (screenwriter of Final Destination 5 and The Thing) and stars Paul Walker and Genesis Rodriguez. The movie is set during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and follows a father’s desperate attempt to keep his newborn daughter alive in the wake of the storm’s destruction. The thriller produced by the Safran Company (The Conjuring) in conjunction with Palmstar Media and the Hirsch Group premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is set to be released in select theaters on December 13 by Pantelion Films.
