Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British limited series MaryLand created by Suranne Jones & Anne-Marie O’Connor and starring Jones herself, Eve Best, Stockard Channing, Dean Lennox Kelly, George Costigan, Hugh Quarshie and Andrew Knott. The show’s original music is composed by Samuel Sim (The Spanish Princess, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Bay, The Halcyon, AnneThe Long Call, Home Fires). Premiering on Wednesday, May 8, is the Apple TV+ original series Dark Matter created by Blake Crouch and starring Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley. Jason Hill (Mindhunter, City on FireThem: The Scare, The Confession Killer, Extrapolations, Love, Death & Robots, Voir) has composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, May 9, is the Netflix original series Bodkin created by Jez Scharf and starring Siobhán Cullen, Will Forte, Robyn Cara, David Wilmot and Chris Walley. The show’s original music is composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Fellow Travelers, DreddDynasty, Boston Strangler,Tales from the Loop,  Wormwood). Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering on Thursday is the Max original series Pretty Little Liars: Summer School created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa & Lindsay Calhoon Bring and starring Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Maia Reficco, Malia Pyles, Mallory Bechtel, Alex Aiono, Sharon Leal, Jordan Gonzalez and Elias Kacavas. Ronit Kirchman (The Sinner, Evil Eye, Limetown) has composed the original score for the follow-up to 2022’s reboot Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (scored by Joseph Bishara). The new season of the teen drama will be available to stream exclusively on Max.

Premiering in the U.S. on Friday, May 10, is the fourteenth season of the British series Doctor Who developed by Russell T Davies and starring Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson, Aneurin Barnard, Jonathan Groff, Yasmin Finney, Anita Dobson, Jemma Redgrave, Michelle Greenidge, Gwïon Morris Jones, Jenny Rush, Bonnie Langford, Indira Varma and Angela Wynter. The new season’s original music is composed by Murray Gold (TorchwoodIt’s a Sin, Gentleman Jack, QuizA Very English Scandal) who previously scored the first ten seasons.
