Gaumont has released a soundtrack album for the French live-action/animated hybrid comedy Dog & Cat (Chien et chat). The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Aknin (The Student and Mr. Henri, Wedding Unplanned, The Tasting, Baby Phone, Paris à tout prix). Dog & Cat is co-written and directed by Reem Kherici and stars Franck Dubosc, Kherici herself, Philippe Lacheau and Inès Reg. The movie follows the owner of an Internet-famous cat and an international jewel thief whose dog has swallowed a ruby who must must work together to recover their prized pets when they escape their cages in the airport. The comedy just opened in French theaters yesterday.
