Viral has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the French 2019 drama Les Misérables co-written and directed by Ladj Ly and starring Damien Bonnard, Alexis Manenti, Djebril Zonga, Steve Tientcheu and Jeanne Balibar. The album features the original score from the Academy Award-nominated film composed by the French electronic music project Pink Noise. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Spotify (and several other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Les Misérables is inspired by 2005 Parisian riots and follows a recent transplant to the impoverished suburb of Montfermeil, where joins the local anti-crime squad. The drama, which premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, was distributed in the U.S. by Amazon Studios and is now available to stream on Prime Video/Freevee and to purchase on DVD.
