Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alex G (aka Alex Giannascoli) is reuniting with director Jane Schoenbrun on the upcoming horror thriller I Saw the TV Glow. The film is written and directed by Schoenbrun and stars Justice Smith, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Ian Foreman, Fred Durst, Helena Howard and Danielle Deadwyler. The movie revolves around a teenager who is trying to make it through life in the suburbs, when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show, a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. Emma Stone, Dave McCary (Brigsby Bear), Ali Herting (The Curse, Bodies Bodies Bodies), Sam Intili and Sarah Winshall (Strawberry Mansion) are producing the A24 production. Alex G has previously made his scoring debut on Schoenbrun’s last movie, We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. I Saw the TV Glow will premiere in January at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
