Sparks & Shadows will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Foundation. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, Outlander, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Battlestar Galactica) who has provided the themes and his Sparks & Shadows team (including Omer Ben-Zvi, Etienne Monsaingeon & Kelsey Woods). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Lakeshore Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring McCreary’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Foundation is developed by David S. Goyer & Josh Friedman based on the sci-fi novels by Isaac Asimon and stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Chipo Chung and Cassian Bilton. The second season of the Skydance Television production premiered earlier this month with new episodes dropping every Friday on Apple TV+.
