Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1978 sci-fi/horror classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers directed by Philip Kaufman and starring Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams, Leonard Nimoy, Veronica Cartwright and Jeff Goldblum. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the film composed by Denny Zeitlin, including previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set is now available to order on Amazon and on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and learn more about the release. United Artists has previously released the original 1978 soundtrack album on vinyl, while Perseverance Records has a “25th Anniversary” CD edition in 2023. A digital version of the original album is available from MGM Music. Invasion of the Body Snatchers is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
