Decca Records has released a soundtrack album for the Australian crime thriller The Dry. The album features the film’s original music composed by Peter Raeburn (Woodshock, Nancy, Photograph, Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism). The Dry is co-written and directed by Robert Connolly and stars Eric Bana, Genevieve O’Reilly, Keir O’Donnell and John Polson. The movie is based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Jane Harper and centers on a cop who returns to his hometown to face the demons of his past after his childhood friend dies in a murder-suicide. The thriller is being released in Australian theaters today. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
