Premiering tonight is the HBO limited series The Undoing created by David E. Kelley, directed by Susanne Bier and starring Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant, Edgar Ramirez, Noah Jupe, Noma Dumezweni, Lily Rabe, Matilda De Angelis, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Donald Sutherland. The show’s original music is composed by Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (The FamilyRadioactive, Loveless, The Wizard of LiesNine Lives). Premiering on Wednesday, October 28, is the Netflix original film Holidate directed by John Whitesell and starring Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, Andrew Bachelor, Jessica Capshaw, Jake Manley, Manish Dayal, Frances Fisher and Kristin Chenoweth. Premiering on Thursday, October 29, is the National Geographic docu-series City So Real directed by Steve James about contemporary Chicago, set against the backdrop of its 2019 mayoral election, and the  2020 summer of COVID-19 and social upheaval following the police killing of George Floyd. The show’s original music is composed by Will Miller and theChicago-based jazz collective Resavoir. The 5-parter, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festivals (parts 1-4), will premiere on Thursday on Nat Geo and will also be available to stream on Friday on Hulu.

Premiering on Friday, October 30, is the thriller His House written and directed by Remi Weekes and starring Wunmi Mosaku, Sope Dirisu and Matt Smith. Roque Banos (Don’t BreatheEvil Dead,  In the Heart of the Sea, The MachinistSexy Beast) has composed the film’s original music. Also premiering on Friday is the Amazon original series Truth Seekers created by Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, Nat Saunders & James Serafinowicz and starring Frost & Pegg, Samson Kayo, Emma D’Arcy, Malcolm McDowell and Susan Wokoma. The show’s original music is composed by Robin Foster (AnthropoidUntogether, Metro Manila, Criminal). Also premiering on Friday is the Showtime documentary Citizen Bio directed by Trish Dolman about the nascent biohacking movement and the unconventional scientists and researchers developing alternative medicines to prolong human life. Paul Oakenfold (SwordfishNobel Son, Nothing Like the Holidays, Appleseed) and Michael J. McEvoy (Me and Orson Welles, Finding Your Feet) has composed the film’s original music.
