Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film The Half of It. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Anton Sanko (Rabbit HoleThe Possession, Big Love, OuijaThe Seagull). Also included is a demo version of the original song Half Way by Joe Pernice. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. The Half of It is written and directed by Alice Wu and stars Leah Lewis, Daniel Diemer, Alexxis Lemire, Wolfgang Novogratz, Collin Chou, Becky Ann Baker, Enrique Murciano, Macintyre Dixon and Catherine Curtin. The coming-of-age comedy follows a shy, introverted, Chinese-American, straight-A student who finds herself helping the school jock woo the girl they both secretly love. The dramedy premiered this past May and is now available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
