22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French animated feature The Prince’s Voyage (Le voyage du Prince). The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Héral (Rayman Legends, Rayman Origins, Beyond Good & Evil). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Prince’s Voyage is co-written and directed by Jean-François Laguionie and follows an old monkey prince who finds himself lost and injured on an unknown shore, where he gets rescued by a young boy and sheltered by his parents, two scientists who have been exiled from their community for believing in the existence of other monkey civilizations. The animated movie was released in French theaters last December and was also shown at numerous international film festivals. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
