Premiering tonight is the HBO original series Avenue 5 created by Armando Iannucci and starring Hugh Laurie, Josh Gad, Zach Woods, Rebecca Front, Suzy Nakamura, Lenora Crichlow, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Ethan Phillips. Also premiering tonight is the Fox drama 9-1-1: Lone Star created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Tim Minear and starring Rob Lowe, Liv Tyler, Ronen Rubinstein, Sierra McClain, Jim Parrack, Natacha Karam, Brian Michael Smith, Julian Works and Rafael Silva. Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, Feud: Bette and Joan), Todd Haberman (Hemlock Grove9-1-1) & Justin Burnett (Dungeons & DragonsGetaway) are composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, January 23 is the CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Picard created by and starring Patrick Stewart, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway and Evan Evagora. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, Legion) who also wrote the series’ theme. Missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the new Paramount Network original series 68 Whiskey developed by Roberto Benabib and starring Sam Keeley, Jeremy Tardy, Gage Golightly, Cristina Rodlo, Beth Riesgraf, Lamont Thompson, Nicholas Coombe and Derek Theler. Tyler Bates (Guardians of the GalaxyDeadpool 2John Wick300, Dawn of the Dead) is composing the show’s original music. Also missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the new Freeform original series Everything’s Gonna Be Okay created by Josh Thomas who also stars in the show, alongside Kayla Cromer, Maeve Press. The show’s original music is composed by Bryony Marks (Berlin Syndrome, Felony, Please Like Me). The comedy, premiered on January 16 and will air every Thursday night on Freeform.
