Warp Records has announced a soundtrack album for Josh and Benny Safdie’s crime thriller Uncut Gems. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) (The Bling Ring, Partisan) who has previously scored the Safdie Brothers’ last feature Good Time. Uncut Gems is written and directed by Josh & Benny Safdie and stars Adam Sandler, Lakeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, Kevin Garnett, Idina Menzel and Eric Bogosian, Judd Hirsch. The movie centers on a charismatic New York City jeweler who must perform a precarious high-wire act, balancing business, family, and encroaching adversaries on all sides, in his relentless pursuit of the ultimate win. The thriller premiered last month at the Toronto Film Festival and will be released in theaters on December 13 by A24.
