The film’s original music is composed James Everingham for Bleeding Fingers Music and produced by Hans Zimmer & Russell Emanuel. Also premiering tonight is the CNN docu-series The Movies executive produced by Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman & Mark Herzog and featuring interviews with Steven Spielberg, Julia Roberts, Ron Howard, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, among others. Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, Riverdale, Into the West, Life As We Know It) & Nathaniel Blume (The Seventies, The Eighties, Deception) have composed the show’s original music. Premiering tomorrow, July 8, is the documentary Chasing the Moon directed by Robert Stone about the race to the moon. Premiering on Tuesday, July 9 is the HBO documentary I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter directed by Erin Lee Carr about Michelle Carter, who was on trial for supposedly convincing the late Conrad Roy to commit suicide via text messages. The film’s original music is composed by Ian Hultquist (Assassination NationA-X-L, The First Monday in MayAnimalsMy Blind Brother). Premiering on Thursday, July 11 is the sci-fi drama Cities of Last Things directed by Ho Wi Ding and starring Jack Kao, Li Hong-Chi, Louise Grinber, Ding Ning, Stone, Huang Lu, Liu Rui-Chi, Hsin Yin, Liu Juei-Chi and Shin Yin. The film’s original music is composed by Rob (ManiacHornsTroy: Fall of a CityRevengePlanetarium). Milan Records has released a soundtrack featuring the composer’ score. Premiering on Friday, July 12 is the Netflix original movie Point Blank directed by Joe Lynch and starring Frank Grillo, Anthony Mackie and Marcia Gay Harden. Mitch Lee (El Chicano) has composed the film’s original music. The thriller, which follows an emergency room nurse who unwillingly partners with an injured murder suspect in a race against time and renegade cops to save his pregnant wife, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Also premiering on Friday is the Showtime docu-series Shangri-La directed by Morgan Neville & Jeff Malmberg about creative conversation and the emotional side of music-making, using legendary music producer and Def Jam Records co-founder Rick Rubin’s iconic Malibu, CA studio as the backdrop.
