Range Music will release a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama Los Frikis. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Last Night in Soho, Our Planet, Fury, Baby Driver, Suicide Squad, The Aeronauts, The World’s End). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track below. A separate EP featuring the songs from the movie by the punk rock band Basura is also being released in the same date. Los Frikis is written and directed by Michael Schwartz & Tyler Nilson and stars Hector Medina, Eros de la Puente, Adria Arjona, Luis Alberto Garcia, Jorge Perugorría and César Camilo Roque. The movie produced by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller is set in 1990s Cuba, where Fidel Castro has outlawed all rock music, and follows a group of impoverished punk musicians who dream of a life beyond oppression and seize a dangerous escape.

‘The Peanut Butter Falcon’ Soundtrack Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the drama The Peanut Butter Falcon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Zach Dawes, Jonathan Sadoff (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Ingrid Goes West) and members of The Punch Brothers. Also included are new songs from Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek, I’m With Her), Butch Walker, as well as additional tracks from The Staples Center and Ola Reed. T Bone Burnett to Produce ‘The Peanut Butter Falcon’ Soundtrack
Armory Films announced today that T Bone Burnett will be producing the soundtrack for the upcoming drama The Peanut Butter Falcon. The film is written and directed by Tyler Nilson & Michael Schwartz (The Moped Diaries) and stars Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson, Zachary Gottsagen and Bruce Dern. The movie follows a down on his luck crab fisherman as he embarks on a journey to get a young man with Down syndrome to a professional wresting school in rural North Carolina and away from the retirement home where he’s lived most of his life. Burnett is also producing the movie with Tim Zajaros & Christopher Lemole, Albert Berger & Ron Yerxa (Little Miss Sunshine, Nebraska), Lije Sarki and David Thies.
