Paloma Peñarrubia (The Skin of the Wolf, Mighty Flash, Gunpowder Heart) has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish fantasy drama Tobacco Barns (Secaderos). The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Tobacco Barns is written and directed by Rocío Mesa and stars Vera Centenera, Ada Mar Lupiáñez and Tamara Arias. The movie tells the story of a 7-year old girl spending the summer in her grandparents’ town who comes across a friendly monster living in his grandparent’s derelict tobacco barn.

‘Harriet the Spy’ Season 2 Soundtrack EP Released
Platoon has released a new soundtrack EP for the Apple TV+ original animated series Harriet the Spy. The 6-track EP features Kilo Kish’s cover of James Brown’s I Got You (I Feel Good), Alex Lahey’s rendition of Shirley Ellis’ The Name Game, as well as songs performed by Sleater-Kinney, Aloe Blacc, Anna Waronker (who is also composing the show’s score) and The Linda Lindas. Soundtrack Album for ‘The Munsters’ TV Series Announced
La-La Land Records has announced The Munsters: Television Music of Jack Marshall, a new album featuring the television scores of composer Jack Marshall (Thunder Road, Munster, Go Home). The 2-CD set, which is being released as part of the label’s Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features selections of the composer’s music from the 1960s comedy classic series The Munsters on the first disc. The titles on the second disc include the TV westerns The Deputy (which ran between 1959 and 1961), Wagon Train (1958-1965) and The Virginian (1962-1971).

Expanded and Remastered ‘Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights’ Soundtrack Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1992 drama Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights directed by Peter Kosminsky and starring Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, Jeremy Northam, Sophie Ward, Simon Shepherd and Janet McTeer. The album features the remastered original score from the film composed by Academy Award winner Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Last Emperor, Little Buddha, The Revenant Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Snake Eyes, Femme Fatale), including previously unreleased music. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today.
