Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action comedy directed by Patrick Hughes and starring Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek, Elodie Yung and Joaquim De Almeida. The film’s original score is composed by Atli Orvarsson (Vantage Point, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as the songs from the movie by Lionel Ritchie, Foreigner, King Harvest, Chuck Berry, Samuel L. Jackson & more. Also opening wide is the crime comedy Logan Lucky directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane, Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterson, Sebastian Stan, Hilary Swank, Daniel Craig and Dwight Yoakam. David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Out of Sight, Haywire) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack featuring a score medley, as well as songs by John Denver, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Bo Diddley, John Fahey, The Groundhogs, LeAnn Rimes & more.
