Ryan Shore has composed the score for the concert documentary Mindless Behavior: All Around the World. The film is directed by Steven Goldfried and centers on the hit teen R&B/hip-hop boy band Mindless Behavior. The movie follows the band’s members Roc Royal, Ray Ray, Princeton and Prodigy as they travel across the US on their first major headlining tour. Brian Robbins (Varsity Blues, Smallville), Joe Davola and Walter M. Millsap III are producing the project. The Grammy-nominated composer, whose previous credits include such films as Prime, Harvard Man, Numb and the recent video game Spy Hunter, has written a multi-styled score ranging from hip hop, R&B and pop music, to orchestra, guitar and solo piano based emotional scoring for Mindless Behavior: All Around the World. The documentary will be released in AMC Theaters nationwide on March 15, 2013.

‘Spy Hunter’ Soundtrack Announced
WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s video game reboot Spy Hunter. The album features the game’s original music written by Grammy-nominated composer Ryan Shore (Prime, The Shrine). The composer who makes his video game scoring debut on the project has incorporated Henry Mancini’s classic theme to Peter Gunn (also used in into his score for the original 80s game) into his score. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 9, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from the score after the jump. Spy Hunter is a reboot of the 1983 combat driving series and is developed for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS by TT Fusion. To pre-order the game, which is also coming out on October 9, click here.
Comic-Con 2012 Film Music Panel Roundup
Following our previous report on the film music-related events at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, more film composers have been announced to participate in the Behind the Music with CW3PR: Perfect Sound for TV & Film panel. In addition to the previously announced Trevor Morris, Robert Duncan and Danny Jacob, as well as singers Lisbeth Scott and Laura Dickinson, Marc Shaiman has joined the panel. The composer is coming off co-writing the songs, as well as scoring the first six episodes of the first season of NBC’s Smash, which he also executive produced. Another recent addition is composer/songwriter Michael Penn who recently scored the first season of the new HBO hit comedy Girls created by Lena Dunham and produced by Judd Apatow. The final addition to the panel is iZLER, composer of ABC’s hit drama Revenge.
