Milan Records has released the international version of the soundtrack album for Studio Ponoc’s Japanese animated feature The Imaginary. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kenji Tamai and agehasprings. Also included is the original end credits song Nothing’s Impossible by A Great Big World featuring Rachel Platten (previously released as a digital single). Columbia Records has released the song HERE WO GO! from the Netflix original film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. The track, which features a sample of Harold Faltermeyer’s classic Axel F theme, is co-written (with Mark Williams) and performed by Lil Nas X is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘Drawing Closer’ Soundtrack Album Released
Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Japanese Netflix original film Drawing Closer. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Seiji Kameda (Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight, Threads – Our Tapestry of Love). Drawing Closer is written and directed by Takahiro Miki and stars Ren Nagase, Natsuki Deguchi, Mayuu Yokota, Kyoka, Kazuki Otomo and Ikuho Akiya. The romantic drama based Aoi Morita’s novel of the same title follows a 17-year-old teen with only a year left to live who finds new meaning in life by bringing joy to a terminally ill girl who has just six months remaining.

Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the British Netflix original series Supacell. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by songwriter/music producer Sillkey. Also included are songs by artists such as Ghetts, Giggs, series creator Rapaman and Digga D. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 28 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The movie is directed by Julian Farino (The Oranges, Ballers) and stars Mark Wahlberg, Halle Berry, Mike Colter, Jessica De Gouw, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jackie Earle Haley, Alice Lee and J.K. Simmons. The action comedy follows a construction worker from Jersey who gets thrust into the world of super spies and secret agents when his high school sweetheart suddenly comes back into his life and recruits him on a high-stakes U.S. intelligence mission.

The movie is written and directed by Stelana Kliris (Committed) and stars Harry Connick Jr. (who also contributed two new original songs), Agni Scott, Ali Fumiko Whitney, Tony Demetriou, Clarence Smith, Aggeliki Filippidou, Lea Maleni and Athina Roditou. The romantic drama follows a rock star who retreats to a cliffside home on Cyprus after a failed comeback album, only to find his new life complicated by visitors – and an old flame.
