The de Luca Brothers have been hired to score the upcoming Discovery’s upcoming investigative series Killing Fields. The show takes a look at the deep history attached to isolated and idyllic outside areas in America he deep history attached to remote areas in America that are “killing fields”, locations where crimes have occurred and have gone undetected due to their geography and outside elements that have erased the scene of the crime. Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietman, The Natural, Sleepers) and Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Street, Oz) are executive producing the project with Rebecca Toth Diefenbach, Valerie Haselton, Lucilla D’Agostino, Denise Contis and Joseph Schneier.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (September 26, 2014)
Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action thriller The Equalizer directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Denzel Washington, Chloë Grace Moretz, Marton Csokas, David Harbour, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo. The film’s original music is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek series, Man on Fire, Unstoppable) who previously scored the director’s The Replacement Killers. Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music earlier this week. Check out our previous article for the full album details. Also opening wide this weekend is the animated feature The Boxtrolls directed by Anthony Stacchi & Graham Annable and featuring the voices of Ben Kingsley, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Elle Fanning, Jared Harris, , Tracy Morgan, Toni Collette, Nick Frost, Richard Ayoade and Simon Pegg. Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, V for Vendetta, Anna Karenina) has composed the film’s original music. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the film, including The Boxtrolls Song written by Eric Idle and performed by Mark Orton and Loch Lomond. The de Luca Brothers Scoring ‘Two Night Stand’
The de Luca Brothers have recently scored the upcoming romantic comedy Two Night Stand. The film is directed by Max Nichols and stars Miles Teller, Analeigh Tipton, Jessica Szohr, Kid Cudi and Leven Rambin. The movie centers on a pair of twentysomething strangers who are trapped together in an apartment after a Manhattan blizzard forces them to extend a regrettable one-night stand. Mark Hammer has written the script, which made the 2011 Black List. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Gangster Squad) and Beau Flynn (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Journey to the Center of the Earth) are producing the project with Sam Englebardt & William D. Johnson (Byzantium, Zombieland) for Demarest Films.
