Lakeshore Records has released the full version of the Academy Award-shortlisted original song Meet in the Middle from the musical comedy drama Flora and Son. The track co-written (with Gary Clark, John Carney & Robert John Ardiff) and performed by lead actors Eve Hewson & Joseph Gordon-Levitt is now available as a digital single, which also includes a previously unreleased score track (Hug Through Park by Clark), on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Soundtrack Album for Apple TV+’s ‘Mr. Corman’ to Be Released
Apple Video Programming will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Mr. Corman. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Nathan Johnson (Knives Out, Brick, Looper, The Brothers Bloom, Don Jon, Kill the Messenger). Also included are songs performed by series creator/star Joseph Gordon-Levitt and cast members Debra Winger, Juno Temple and Bobby Hall a.k.a. Logic. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 6 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon or any other major digital music stores. Mr. Corman is written and directed by Gordon-Levitt and also stars Arturo Castro, Hector Hernandez Jamie Chung and Shannon Woodward. The comedy follows a man whose lifelong dream of a career in music didn’t pan out and finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley.
Nathan Johnson Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘Mr. Corman’
Nathan Johnson (Knives Out, Brick, Looper, The Brothers Bloom, Kill the Messenger, Young Ones) is scoring the new Apple TV+ original series Mr. Corman. The show is written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and stars himself, alongside Arturo Castro, Debra Winger, Bobby Hall a.k.a. Logic, Hector Hernandez, Juno Temple, Jamie Chung and Shannon Woodward. The comedy revolves around a man whose lifelong dream of a career in music didn’t pan out and finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley. Gordon-Levitt is also executive producing the A24 production with Bruce Eric Kaplan (Six Feet Under, Girl), Ravi Nandan (Euphoria, Ramy) and Inman Young (Moonbase 8).
‘Don Jon’ Soundtrack Details
Relativity Music Group will release the official soundtrack album for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s indie comedy Don Jon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nathan Johnson (Looper, Brick, The Brothers Bloom). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 8, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Don Jon is written and directed by Gordon-Levitt who also stars in the film alongside Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza and Brie Larson. The movie follows a porn-addicted, modern day Don Juan who sets out to become a less selfish person after meeting a recently widowed older woman. The comedy premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and was picked up by Relativity Media for U.S. distribution.

Nathan Johnson is currently scoring the upcoming comedy Don Jon’s Addiction. The film marks the directorial feature debut of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt who has also written the screenplay and stars as a porn-addicted, modern day Don Juan who sets out to become a less selfish person after meeting a recently widowed older woman. Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Brie Larson, Rob Brown and Tony Danza are co-starring. Ram Bergman is producing through his production company and Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, Killer Joe) is producing for Voltage Pictures. Bergman has previously produced Rian Johnson’s Brick, The Brothers Bloom and Looper, all of which were scored by Nathan Johnson.
