Skylar Grey has recorded an original song for the superhero movie Aquaman. The track, entitled Everything I Need, is written by Grey and Elliott Taylor and is featured in the movie directed by James Wan and stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Kidman, Ludi Lin and Temuera Morrison. A soundtrack album, which also includes the film’s original score composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams, is set to be released on December 14 by WaterTower Music. Check back on this page for updates.

Rupert Gregson-Williams to Score James Wan’s ‘Aquaman’
Rupert Gregson-Williams has been hired to score the upcoming comic book movie Aquaman. The film is directed by James Wan (Furious 7, The Conjuring, Insidious, Saw) and stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison, Michael Beach and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The movie is based on the DC Comics character who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, born half-human as Arthur Curry and half-Atlantean. Peter Safran (The Conjuring, Annabelle) is producing the project.
Joseph Bishara to Score ‘The Children’
Joseph Bishara revealed in a recent interview with Dread Central that he is set to compose the music for the upcoming horror thriller The Children. The film is directed by Michael Chaves and stars Linda Cardellini, Sean Patrick Thomas and Patricia Velasquez. The movie follows a social worker who, while investigating the mysterious disappearance of two children, discovers her own family might also be in jeopardy. Mikki Daughtry & Tobias Iaconis wrote the screenplay. James Wan (Saw, Furious 7) is producing the New Line Cinema production with Gary Dauberman (screenwriter of It and Annabelle) and Emile Gladstone (Army of One).
‘The Conjuring 2’ Soundtrack Details
WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror sequel The Conjuring 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Bishara (Insidious series, Annabelle, Dark Skies) who previously scored the 2013 original film. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 3, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Conjuring 2 is directed by James Wan and stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Frances O’Connor, Madison Wolfe, Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley, Benjamin Haigh, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Simon Delane and Franka Potente. In the second installment, the Warrens travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
Benjamin Wallfisch Scoring ‘Lights Out’
This week, Benjamin Wallfisch is recording his music for the upcoming horror thriller Lights Out at The Bridge Recording Studios in Glendale, CA. The film is directed by David Sandberg and stars Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman and Alexander DiPersia. The movie is based on the director’s short film of the same title and follows a young boy and his estranged sister who are confronted by an evil entity that only appears when the lights are out. Eric Heisserer (Final Destination 5, The Thing) has written the screenplay and is also producing the New Line Cinema production with James Wan (The Conjuring, Furious 7, Insidious) and Lawrence Grey.

The film is set before the haunting of the Lambert family and reveals how Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity. Joseph Bishara is composing the music for the upcoming horror thriller Annabelle. The film is a spin-off of last year’s The Conjuring and stars Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, Alfre Woodard, Eric Ladin and Brian Howe. The movie is directed by John Leonetti (The Butterfly Effect 2) who served as the cinematographer on The Conjuring and explores the haunted doll Annabelle, which was featured in the hit horror film. Gary Dauberman has written the screenplay and Peter Safran (Buried, Vampire Sucks) and James Wan (Insidious, Saw) are producing the New Line Cinema production.
Brian Tyler to Score ‘Fast & Furious 7’
Brian Tyler has officially signed on to score the upcoming action sequel Fast & Furious 7. The film is directed by James Wan (The Conjuring, Insidious, Saw) and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster and Lucas Black who all reprise their roles from the previous films in the series. They are joined by new cast members including Kurt Russell, Ronda Rousey, Djimon Hounsou and Jason Statham. No plot details have been revealed yet, but the movie is set to take place in Los Angeles for the first time since the 2000 original film. Chris Morgan (Wanted) who penned the last four installments for the franchise is writing the screenplay and Neal Moritz (21 Jump Street, I Am Legend) returns as the producer of the project.
