The details for the soundtrack album for the upcoming action sequel A Good Day to Die Hard have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream) who scored his second film for the franchise following 2007’s Live Free or Die Hard. The soundtrack is scheduled to be released on February 19, 2013 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Cinema Musica and Sony Music has also just published a “first listen” of the soundtrack, including two full tracks (available here), as well as audio clips from all the other tracks on the album, which can be checked out after the jump. A Good Day to Die Hard is directed by John Moore (Flight of the Phoenix, The Omen) 
and stars Bruce Willis & Jai Courtney and follows John McClane as he finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack.

Sony Classical to Release Marco Beltrami’s ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ Score
Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the action sequel A Good Day to Die Hard. The album features the film’s original score composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream) who previously scored the previous installment in the Die Hard series, Live Free or Die Hard. The soundtrack will be released on February 12, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full album details, including track list and cover art are expected to be revealed in early 2013. A Good Day to Die Hard is directed by John Moore who has previously worked with the composer on such films as Flight of the Phoenix, The Omen and Max Payne.
New Soundtrack Editions for ‘Die Hard With a Vengeance’, ‘The Untouchables’ and ‘Home Alone 2’ Announced
La-La Land Records has announced three new limited soundtrack editions. First up is a release of the expanded score for the 1995 action thriller sequel Die Hard With A Vengeance directed by John McTiernan and starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Irons. The 2CD-set feature the score composed by Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Lethal Weapon) as written for the film, as well as several rejected cues. The album is limited to 4000 copies. Danny Elfman’s ‘Scrooged’ Score and Ennio Morricone’s ‘Fat Man and Little Boy’ Soundtrack Released
La-La Land Records has announced four new limited soundtrack albums, including two world premiere releases and two new editions of film music classics. First up is the previously unreleased score for Richard Donner’s 1988 holiday comedy Scrooged. The album includes the music from the movie by Danny Elfman. The project was Elfman’s first major Hollywood studio assignment before he scored his breakout score for Tim Burton’s Batman. Scrooged starring Bill Murray, Karen Allen, David Johansen and Bobcat Goldthwait received one Academy Award nomination for Best Make Up.
The label has also announced the world premiere release of the 1989 docudrama Fat Man and Little Boy. The album includes the original score from the film by Ennio Morricone. The 2CD-set includes a number of cues that were not used in the final cut of the movie. Audio clips and more details about the release can be checked out in La-La Land Records’ online store. Fat Man and Little Boy was directed by Roland Joffe (The Mission) and stars Paul Newman, Dwight Schultz and John Cusack.
