Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax has released a new soundtrack album for the romantic comedy Meet Cute. The album features the film’s original score composed by Stephen Lukach (Wrong Turn: The Foundation, Sneaky Pete, Far Cry 6: Special Operations). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Republic Records has previously released a soundtrack EP featuring six songs from the movie last month. Meet Cute is directed by Alex Lehmann and stars Pete Davidson, Kaley Cuoco, Deborah S. Craig, Sierra Fisk, Rock Kohli, Wesley Holloway and Andrew Stevens Purdy.

The EP features six songs from the movie, including Lauren Spencer Smith’s cover of The Shirelles’ Will You Love Me Tomorrow, Ann Peebles’ I Can’t Stand the Rain, Ormiston’s Time Fades, MIZZI’s So Fresh, Damien Jurado’s The Shape of a Storm and Biig Piig’s Feels Right. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, September 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Meet Cute is directed by Alex Lehmann and stars Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson. The romantic comedy centers on a woman who finds a time machine in a nail salon and uses it to repeatedly travel back in time to relive the best date of her life.

Stephen Lukach (Wrong Turn: The Foundation, Sneaky Pete, Far Cry 6: Special Operations) has recently scored the upcoming Peacock original film Meet Cute. The movie is directed by Alex Lehmann (Blue Jay, Paddleton) and stars Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson. The romantic comedy follows a woman who finds a time machine in a downtown Manhattan nail salon and uses it to repeatedly travel back in time to relive the best date of her life.
Julian Wass Scoring Alex Lehmann’s ‘Paddleton’
Composer Julian Wass (Hit and Run, The Miseducation of Cameron Post) is reuniting with director Alex Lehmann on the upcoming Netflix original movie Paddleton. The film starring Mark Duplass, Ray Romano, Ravi Patel and Christine Woods centers on the bromance between two misfit neighbors, which becomes an unexpectedly emotional journey when one of them is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Lehmann also co-wrote the screenplay with Duplass (who also serves as an executive producer alongside his brother Jay).
‘Blue Jay’ Soundtrack Announced
A soundtrack will be released for the indie drama Blue Jay. The album features the film’s original music composed by Julian Wass (Hit and Run, The Overnight, Animals, Other People). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Blue Jay is directed by Alex Lehmann and stars Mark Duplass (who also co-wrote the screenplay and produced the project) and Sarah Paulson. The movie revolves around two former high-school sweethearts who reflect on their shared past through the lens of their differently dissatisfied presents when they return to their tiny California hometown.
