Composer Gabriel Mann (Modern Family, RectifyRosewood) is reteaming with writer/producer Tim Federle on the upcoming Disney+ original movie Better Nate Than Ever. The film is written and directed by Federle and stars Rueby Wood, Norbert Leo Butz, Lisa Kudrow, Aria Brooks, Michelle Federer and Joshua Bassett. The comedy drama is based on Federle’s book of the same title and follows a 13-year-old Pittsburgher who sneaks off to a major musical audition in the Big Apple with his best friend after not being cast in their school play. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Roku Channel original movie Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas. The album features the songs from the film performed by cast members such as Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, Mary Steenburgen, Andrew Leeds, Alice Lee, Kapil Talwalkar, David St. Louis, Amirah Taylor and Bernadette Peters. Also included is the Tori Kelly’s original song North Star, which will also be coming out separately as a digital single. The show is developed by Robert Siegel (The Wrestler, The Founder) & DV DeVincentis (High Fidelity, American Crime Story) and stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the title roles of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, as well as Seth Rogen, Taylor Schilling, Nick Offerman, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese and Mozhan Marnò.
