Opening in select U.S. theaters today is the French drama Anatomy of a Fall (Anatomie d’une chute) co-written and directed by Justine Triet and starring Sandra Hüller, Swann Arlaud and Milo Machado Graner. The film doesn’t feature an original score and no soundtrack release is expected. The movie, which tells the story of an author who trying to prove her innocence in her husband’s death, premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it received the Palme d’Or, and is being released by Neon.
Opening in New York today before expanding to more markets in the coming weeeks is the sci-fi thriller Divinity written and directed by Eddie Alcazar and stars Stephen Dorff, Moises Arias, Bella Thorne, Jason Genao, Scott Bakula and Karrueche Tran. The film’s original music is composed by DJ Muggs (of Cypress Hill) & Dean Hurley (Looks That Kill). Sacred Bones Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artists’ score today.
