The film directed by Mark Linfield (Monkey Kingdom, Penguins), co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz (Elephant, Queens) is set high in the treetops of Southeast Asia, where a magnificent and mysterious community filled with playful personalities live. The movie narrated by Josh Gad follows Indah, an inquisitive adolescent orangutan learning how to navigate life as she prepares to leave her family and venture out on her own for the first time. Marco Beltrami (Scream, Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, A Quiet Place, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine, Ford v. Ferrari, Hellboy) has revealed in a recent interview on Film Music Live that he will be reuniting with director Jean-Francois Richet (Mesrine: Killer Instinct, Assault on Precint 13) on the upcoming French Netflix original film Quasimodo. He is teaming up with Marcus Trumpp (Fear Street Part 1 & 3, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Love and Monsters, Turbulence, Clown in a Cornfield) to co-score the movie starring Vincent Cassel, Karim Leklou, Daphné Patakia, Benjamin Voisin, Sébastien Pouderoux, Noémie Lvovsky, Eli Nachmani & Alexis Rosenstieh. The drama, which is set in Paris on the eve of 1830’s July Revolution and reimagines the life of the man said to have inspired Victor Hugo’s iconic character, Quasimodo, follows the title character who gets caught between political turmoil and an impossible love as the cholera epidemic spreads through the city. Northern Artists Outlet has released two soundtrack albums for the German drama The Physician II (Der Medicus II). The album features the film’s original music composed by Ingo Ludwig Frenzel (The Tunnel, The Royal Game, Young Goethe in Love, The Last Supper, Riesending) who previously scored 2013’s original The Physician movie. Frenzel has previously released several digital singles featuring selections of his score over the last couple of weeks. ‘Bad Boys II’ World Premiere Score Album Announced

La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 2003 action comedy Bad Boys II directed by Michael Bay and starring Martin Lawrence, Will Smith, Gabrielle Union, Jordi Mollà, Peter Stormare, Theresa Randle and Joe Pantoliano. The album features the film’s original score composed by Trevor Rabin (Remember the Titans, Armageddon, National Treasure, Gone in 60 Seconds, Con Air, Snakes on a Place, I Am Number Four), as well as additional music by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Desperate Housewives). Also included are numerous bonus tracks, including Mark Mancina’s unused demo for the sequel and a rearrangement of his original theme. The 2-CD set is limited to 2,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the soundtrack.
