Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings have announced first-ever wide vinyl release of the soundtrack album for the 1989 comedy drama Driving Miss Daisy directed by Bruce Beresford and starring Morgan Freeman Jessica Tandy, Dan Aykroyd, Esther Rolle and Patti LuPone. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune, Gladiator, The Lion King, Interstellar). Also included is Louis Armstrong’s Kiss of Fire and Eartha Kitt’s Santa Baby. The full details of the soundtrack album for the fourth episode of the second season of the Prime Video original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The albums features the original score from Episode 4 (entitled Eldest) of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Outlander, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Happy Death Day). The soundtracks will be released digitally tomorrow, September 5 by Amazon Content Services exclusively on Amazon Music before becoming available on all major digital music services after the full season has premiered. The label has previously released three albums for the first three episodes of the new season last week, as well as the Season 2 album featuring selections of the composer’s score from the new season last month.
