Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Japanese Netflix original film 10DANCE. The album the movie’s original music composed by Masaru Yokoyama (Fruits Basket, Astra Lost in Space). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Milan Records & Paramount Music will release the official soundtrack album for the animated feature The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Debney (The Passion of the ChristElfT Iron Man 2The Emperor’s New Groove, The Jungle Book, Hocus Pocus) who previously scored 2015’s The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Following yesterday’s announcement of the shortlist of twenty titles and today’s SCL (Society of Composers & Lyricists) Awards nominations, we have updated our predictions in the Best Original Score category for next year’s 98th Academy Awards on the left side column of this page. Nomination voting will begin on January 12, 2026 and will end on January 16. The Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) has announced the nominees for the 7th Annual SCL Awards, which will take place on February 6, 2026 at the Skirball Cultural Center, hosted by Kevin Bacon & Michael Bacon, in Los Angeles. Composer Ludwig Göransson and director Ryan Coogler will receive the Spirit of Collaboration Award at the event. The final round of voting will commence on January 19.
