Premiering today is the National Geographic original documentary series Incredible Animal Journeys narrated by Jeremy Renner and executive produced by Martha Holmes, Sarah Gibbs & Tom Hugh-Jones. The show’s original music is composed by Jake Monaco (Jerry & Marge Go Large, Cars on the Road, Dumplin’, Flora & Ulysses, Let’s Be Cops, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Keeping Up with the Joneses). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Check out our previous news article for the full album details and to learn more about the 7-parter, which will air on National Geographic and will also be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, November 21, is the Irish TV series Obituary created by Ray Lawlor and staring  Siobhán Cullen, Michael Smiley, Ronan Raftery, Danielle Galligan and David Ganly. Steve Lynch (Wreck, Boys from Hell, Let Us Prey) has composed the show’s original music. The composer has released a soundtrack album featuring his score earlier this fall when the series premiered in Ireland on RTÉ . Soundtrack Album for Apple TV+’s ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’ Released

Platoon has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ holiday special The Velveteen Rabbit. The album features the original music from the composed by Academy Award winner Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, American History X, Poldark, The Crying Game, The Hustle, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, Benedetta). ‘Ooku: The Inner Chambers’ Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s Japanese original anime series Ōoku: The Inner Chambers. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell,  Ip Man, Death Note, Resident Evil: Vendetta). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list (in Japanese). Listen to a track from the composer’s score below. Ōoku: The Inner Chambers is based on the manga of the same name by Fumi Yoshinaga, directed by Noriyuki Abe and written by Rika Takasugi. The Studio Deen production is set in an alternate history where the male population is nearly decimated and eligible men serve as concubines to the woman shogun inside the walls of the Ooku. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Viola Davis, Josh Andrés Rivera and Jason Schwartzman. The film’s original score is composed by James Newton Howard (The Sixth Sense, King Kong, Signs, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music today (click here for the full album details). Interscope Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the Dave Cobb-produced songs from the movie (click here for the full details of the album and to learn more about the Lionsgate release).

Also opening wide is DreamWorks Animation’s sequel Trolls Band Together directed by Walt Dohrn and starring Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Camila Cabello, Eric André, Amy Schumer, Troye Sivan, Daveed Diggs, Andrew Rannells, Zosia Mamet, Zooey Deschanel and Kid Cudi. Theodore Shapiro (Severance, The Devil Wears Prada, Tropic Thunder, Spy, Bombshell, Marley & Me) has composed the film’s original score. Timberlake & Mike Elizondo serve as the project’s executive music producers and Joseph Shirley (Creed III, The Book of Boba Fett) is credited as song producer. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring Shapiro’s score, while RCA Records has released the songs from the movie, including *NSYNC’s original track Better Days. Soundtrack Albums for History Channel’s ‘Kennedy’ Documentary Series to Be Released

A&E Television Networks will release two soundtrack albums for the History Channel original documentary series Kennedy. The albums feature the show’s original music composed by Ashton Gleckman (who also directed, edited and produced the 8-parter), Michael Frankenberger, and Cameron Moody. The first volume featuring the composers’ score from the first four episodes will be coming out tomorrow, November 18 and the second volume is expected to be released in the following days. Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, After the Wedding, Battlefield V, Things We Lost in the Fire, In a Better World, The Last Vermeer) has been tapped to score the upcoming superhero movie Madame Web. The film is directed by SJ Clarkson (Mistresses, Toast) and stars Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Tahar Rahim, Isabela Merced, Mike Epps, Emma Roberts and Adam Scott. The thriller based on the Marvel Comics centers on Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan with clairvoyant abilities as she is forced to confront revelations about her past and forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures. Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released the second soundtrack album for the second season of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ original series Loki. The album features the original music from the final three episodes of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award nominee Natalie Holt (Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Princess, Knightfall, Herself, Press, Deadwater Fell). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music platforms. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the first three episodes of the new season last month, as well as  two albums featuring her music from Season 1 back in 2021. Loki is created by Michael Waldron and stars Tom Hiddleston, Wunmi Mosaku, Sophia Di Martino, Jonathan Majors, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ke Huy Quan, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice and Owen Wilson. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Dashing Through the Snow. The album features the film’s original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Sausage Party, Lost in Space, Agent Carter, Horrible Bosses, Tom & Jerry, Supernatural). Also included is the original song Santa You’re Alright co-written (with Mischa Chillak) and performed by C.S. Armstrong and The Ton3s’s rendition of Jingle Bell Rock .
