‘G’wed’ Soundtrack Album Released

Jamal Green (TOEMBreeders, Take Cover, Something We MadeSkelattack) has released a soundtrack album for the ITVX comedy G’Wed. The album features selections of the composer’s original music from the show’s first season and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. G’wed is created by Danny Kenny and Dylan Thomas-Smith, Jake Kenny-Byrne, Max Ainsworth, Zak Douglas, Dominic Murphy, Amber Harrison and Gemma Barraclough. The series centers on the lives of a group of working-class teenagers from Liverpool and explores issues like grief, sex, diversity and class differences.

Craft Recordings has announced an expanded reissue of the album Jazz Impressions of A Boy Named Charlie Brown. The 6th album from jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi was originally recorded for an unreleased Peanuts TV special and includes the first recording of Linus and Lucy. The new expanded edition is released to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Peanuts and features the original album, as well as eleven unreleased outtakes, newly remastered and mixed by Paul Blakemore. Also included are new liner notes by Derrick Bang. The album will be released digitally and as a 2-CD set on April 4. Visit Amazon to pre-order the record in both formats. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Lion, Hotel Mumbai, Patrick Melrose, Adrift, The Crow, The Old Guard, One Life). Atlantic Records has released the original song Wandering from the NBC nature documentary series The Americas. The track co-written (wit Catherine Carlile) and performed by Brandi Carlile feat. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jennie Löfgren & Anders Herrlin (Beck, HederFor Better and Worse). COLOORA has released a soundtrack album for the Italian TV series Belcanto. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Stefano Lentini (The Red Door, The Sea Beyond, Studio Battaglia, The Nest of the Turtledove), as well as reworks of classics arranged by the composer. Belcanto is directed by Carmine Elia and stars Vittoria Puccini, Carmine Recano, Giacomo Giorgio, Caterina Ferioli, Adriana Savarese, Vincenzo Ferrera, Andrea Verticchio, Nicolò Pasetti, Serena De Ferrari, Andrea Bosca and Antonio Gerardi.
