Composer Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Enola Holmes, Steve JobsKing Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Ocean’s 8The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) is reteaming with directors Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin (Free Solo, Nyad) on the upcoming documentary Endurance. The film is directed by Vasarhelyi & Chin and Natalie Hewit and centers on the titular ship that sank near Antarctica in 1915, with explorer Ernest Shackleton and his crew miraculously surviving, and was discovered in 2022. Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings have announced first-ever wide vinyl release of the soundtrack album for the 1989 comedy drama Driving Miss Daisy directed by Bruce Beresford and starring Morgan Freeman Jessica Tandy, Dan Aykroyd, Esther Rolle and Patti LuPone. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune, Gladiator, The Lion King, Interstellar). Also included is Louis Armstrong’s Kiss of Fire and Eartha Kitt’s Santa Baby. The full details of the soundtrack album for the fourth episode of the second season of the Prime Video original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The albums features the original score from Episode 4 (entitled Eldest) of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Outlander, Godzilla: King of the MonstersBattlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield LaneHappy Death Day). The soundtracks will be released digitally tomorrow, September 5 by Amazon Content Services exclusively on Amazon Music before becoming available on all major digital music services after the full season has premiered.
