The album features the songs from the film by artists including Blake Shelton, Demi Lovato, Imagine Dragons, Charli XCX, Limp Bizkit, Matoma, Steve Aoki & more. Also included is a score medley by the movie’s composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Smurfs, Bevery Hills Chihuahua). James Newton Howard has been tapped to score the upcoming fantasy adventure Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The film is directed by David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo and Alison Sudol. The movie is based on the book of the same title by J.K. Rowling and follows the adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York’s secret community of witches and wizards 70 years before Harry Potter reads his book in school. Hans Zimmer revealed in a recent interview with Gigwise that he is scoring the upcoming drama The Last Face. The film is directed by Sean Penn and stars Charlize Theron, Javier Bardem, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Jean Reno and Jared Harris. The movie follows the director of an international aid organization working in Liberia who embarks on a love affair with a stubborn and impulsive relief-aid doctor. Erin Dignam (The Yellow Hankerchief) has written the screenplay. Pharrell Williams announced today that he will be writing original songs for the upcoming drama Hidden Figures. The film is directed by Ted Melfi (St. Vincent) and stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge and Kevin Costner. The movie follows a trio of brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind the 1962 launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.
