Michael Andrews is composing the score for the upcoming Netflix originals series Friends from College. The show is created by Nick Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek) & Francesca Delbanco and stars Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park. The comedy centers on a group of friends who went to Harvard together and are now facing down their forties and experiencing a range of success, or lack thereof, both professionally and domestically. Back Lot Music will release a score album for the DreamWorks Animation’s Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed by Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, Spy, Marley & Me). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 9 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. As previously reported, Virgin Records has already released a soundtrack featuring three tracks from the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the movie, several of which were co-written, arranged and produced by Shapiro. Dominic Lewis to Score ‘DuckTales’ Reboot

Dominic Lewis has been tapped to score Disney’s upcoming animated series DuckTales. The show is developed by Marc Youngberg based on the classic 80s cartoon and features the voice talent of David Tennant, Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennett, Tony Anselmo and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The series follows the adventures of millionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews, as they travel around the world in search of treasure and wealth. Youngberg is also executive producing the project. Kill City Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama Interlude in Prague. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hybrid (Catacombs, Vice, Dead in Tombstone, Billionaire Ransom), as well as arrangements of music written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The soundtrack is now to download here. Interlude in Prague is directed by John Stephenson (Animal Farm) and stars James Purefoy, Aneurin Barnard, Samantha Barks and Morfydd Clark. The movie is set in 1787 and follows the story of a few turbulent months in the short life of Mozart that influenced the creation of the opera Don Giovanni.
