Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s anime film The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh. The album features the original music from the 2-parter composed by Kohta Yamamoto (Attack on Titan, 86) & Hiroyuki Sawano (Bubble, Promare). The details of the second soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender have been revealed. The album features the updated and re-recorded score from the second season of the show (Book 2: Earth) composed by Jeremy Zuckerman (The Legend of Korra, Lucky,  Scream: The TV SeriesHorse Girl) who has expanded his original compositions and employed a full orchestra for the new release. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on vinyl next Friday, July 25 by Republic Records Kids & Family. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeong Yong-jin (Woman Is the Future of Man, Woman on the Beach, Gaby Baby Doll, Oki’s Movie). Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the U&alibi original series Bookish. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Sarah Warne (DesTimeHumans, The Long ShadowDark Money, Steeltown Murders, Hollington DriveThe Drowning). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme below. Bookish is created by Mark Gatiss and stars Gatiss himself, Polly Walker, Connor Finch, Elliot Levey, Blake Harrison and Buket Kömür. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sick Luke and Lorenzo Senni & Francesco Fantini (The Challenge). Craft Recordings has announced first-ever picture disc edition of the soundtrack for the 1965 movie musical The Sound of Music directed by Robert Wise and starring Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Peggy Wood, Charmian Carr, Richard Haydn and Eleanor Parker. The collectible 12-inch disc featuring the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein songs is being released to coincide with the film’s 60th anniversary and pairs the iconic 1965 cover art on side A with a whimsical “Lonely Goatherd” image on side B. The soundtrack will be released on September 9 and is now available for preorder on Amazon. The film is written by Alan Bennett and stars Ralph Fiennes, Jim Broadbent and Simon Russell Beale. Luis Felber (aka Attawalpa) has confirmed in recent interviews promoting his work on the new Netflix original series Too Much that he is set to score the upcoming Netflix original film Good Sex. The movie is written and directed by Lena Dunham (Girls) and stars Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, Tucker Pillsbury, Meg Ryan and Rashida Jones. The romantic comedy follows a couples’ therapist who is turning 40 and – after spending a decade in a failed relationship – reluctantly dips her toe back into the New York dating scene, but she gets more than she bargained for when she meets two men- one in his twenties and the other in his fifties – who show her there is no set formula for good sex.
