‘Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Rocky’ Soundtrack EP Released
Amazon Content Services has released Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Rocky, a new EP featuring three tracks from the score for the 1976 classic composed by Academy Award winner Bill Conti (The Right Stuff, The Karate Kid, The Thomas Crown Affair, For Your Eyes Only, Masters of the Universe). The 3-track EP features the Rocky Medley, the “theme song” Gonna Fly Now (feat. lyrics by Carol Connors & Ayn Robbins) and Fanfare for Rocky and is now available to stream/download now on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Avildsen and starring Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Carl Weathers & Burgess Meredith), which will return to theaters (remastered in 4K) on November 7, as well as Rocky in Concert, a live experience that will launch in Des Plaines, IL on October 28 before traveling to more than 20 U.S. markets this fall.

Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1978 thriller sequel Jaws 2 directed by Jeannot Szwarc and starring Roy Scheider, Lorraine Gary and Murray Hamilton. The album features the film’s newly remastered original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, HarryPotter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Catch Me If You Can, Home Alone). ‘No Rest for the Wicked’ Soundtrack Released
TUTL Records has released a soundtrack album for the Danish supernatural gothic romance No Rest for the Wicked. Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring three scores from British 1960s films composed by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Goldfinger, Out of Africa, Somewhere in Time, Indecent Proposal, Body Heat, The Man with the Golden Gun, Chaplin). The album features the composer’s newly remastered music from the 1965 drama Four in the Morning written and directed by Anthony Simmons and starring Ann Lynn, Judi Dench, Norman Rodway, Brian Phelan & Joe Melia, the world premiere release of his score from the 1962 British romantic drama The L-Shaped Room written and directed by Bryan Forbes and starring Leslie Caron, Tom Bell, Bernard Lee, Brock Peters & Cicely Courtneidge, as well as his opening and closing titles music from 1966’s Dutchman directed by Anthony Harvey and starring Shirley Knight & Al Freeman, Jr.. The soundtrack is now available to order as a CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the release.

A24 Music has released the original end credits song On Video from the psychological crime thriller Primetime. The track is co-written and performed by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers (who also made her acting debut in the film) and is now available to stream/download as digital single on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
