Soundtrack Magazine has announced a soundtrack album for the Chinese drama Hidden Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nicolas Errèra (Shaolin, Raging Fire, Adoring, Shaolin, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, Mountain Cry). The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and learn more about the release. Hidden Man is directed by directed by Jiang Wen and stars Eddie Peng, Zhou Yun, Wen himself, Liao Fan and Xu Qing. The movie, which is based on Zhang Beihai’s novel Xia Yin, is set in 1930s China and follows a young swordsman who returns home to try and solve a five-year-old murder case. The comedy opened in Chinese theaters in 2018 and was selected as the country’s entry for the Academy Awards the following year.
