Sion Trefor (Say Nothing, Toxic Town) is the composer of the new BBC comedy drama Death Valley. The show is written and created by Paul Doolan (Trollied) and stars Timothy Spall, Gwyneth Keyworth, Alexandria Riley, Steffan Rhodri, Melanie Walters, Remy Beasley, Mike Bubbins and Rithvik Andugula. The 6-part series is set in Wales and follows the unlikely crime-solving partnership between eccentric a retired actor and star of hit fictional TV detective show Caesar and a disarming Welsh detective sergeant. Doolan is also executive producing the BBC Studios Comedy Production production with Josh Cole (Trying, Good Omens) and Madeline Addy. Death Valley will premiere in the UK this Sunday, May 25 on BBC One (and on the BBCiPlayer) will debut in the U.S. on May 29 on BritBox.
